Summer Outdoor Wedding in Washington, Missouri

Wow, I absolutely loved photographing Claire & Connor’s gorgeous Washington, MO wedding! From the stunning colors (that sage and navy combo is elegant!), to the thoughtful touches that they put into their summer-y outdoor wedding, this day was so memorable!

First, I have to give a moment of appreciation for this venue because it was absolutely gorgeous! Triple 3 Winery provided the perfect backdrop for these to show off how lovely they are together. Scroll to take a look at those couple photos! With those rows of trees at golden hour, I felt like we were in Europe! It was such a romantic setting for these two lovebirds!

Funny enough, Claire and Connor actually met on Instagram! Connor slid into Claire’s DM’s back in 2017, and she fell for him in a heartbeat! It’s totally a 21st-century love story, and I’m here for it! Their proposal moment was just as sweet! Connor planed out the proposal for a road trip they took to Arches National Park. Their car broke down along the way, and Claire told him she was ready to go home! Of course, Connor had planned for the proposal to happen at the Arches, so after fixing the car they continued on their road trip! After a long 2-mile hike in the blazing 106-degree weather, they finally got to the Delicate Arch, where Connor dropped to one knee! Claire told me she was totally surprised with a proposal more beautiful than she could’ve ever imagined!

On their wedding day, the love and affection that these two have for each other was so evident. They wrote sweet letters to each other, and they were both so easygoing! For her something borrowed, something old, and something blue, Claire had her great grandmother’s handkerchief! It was such a beautiful keepsake for the whole family. After saying their vows at St. Ann Catholic Church, we got to enjoy some golden light at the winery. Everyone had a blast on the dance floor, and the couple had a huge sparklers sendoff at the end of the night!
