Last weekend, I had the wonderful privilege of capturing Tiffany and Derek’s beautiful spring wedding in Perryville, Missouri! And what a fun, crazy day it was! From a gorgeous church for the ceremony, to tornado sirens interrupting the reception, T & D were so down-to-earth. Their easygoing nature made my job SO much fun, and I loved how hilarious their entire group was, despite the alarms and storms! You can definitely see how much fun we were all having just by looking at their pictures!

Tiffany and Derek met 8.5 years ago, and everyone was just WAITING for him to propose! Finally, he got down on one knee in front of the Bellagio Fountains on a trip to Las Vegas. Tiffany said it was perfect– the most genuine, raw proposal ever! When Tiffany reached out to me, I knew I really wanted to meet her in person. So, I went to Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to meet with her, her mother, her sister, and her daughter to chat about what it’s like to be a Boulder Creek Bride. We went to ice cream and I instantly loved them all! I knew right then that we had an instant friendship, and I loved watching Tiffany navigate the wedding planning process. It was great knowing that Tiffany felt comfortable enough to reach out to me when she felt overwhelmed, I value that connection with my brides!

Weeks before the big day, Tiffany had already done almost everything for the wedding, which was such a relief! She’s a super pre-planner! One of my favorite details about her wedding decor was the her friend welded all the centerpieces! Scroll to check out the close-ups of these beauties! It was so much fun seeing how many people came out to support T & D’s love– around 400 people!! The church, St. Vincent de Paul Church in Perryville, was absolutely gorgeous (scroll to check out those photos!) and the reception would’ve been an absolute blast (check out the wedding party rocking the T-Rex costumes!)… that is, if the tornado sirens hadn’t started going off! Fortunately, the bride and groom were incredibly laid back about the whole thing, and everyone stayed safe!
