This hot lakeside engagement session was hot for sure, and I’m not just talking about the temperature!! Zach + Madeline just nailed this in every possible way. By the time the heat broke, they decided it was time to finish by cooling off in the lake. This is when their hot lakeside engagement session really started heating up.
Zach and Madeline were also hysterical! These two laughed literally the entire session. Zach and Madeline are every photographer’s dream couple. They were up for everything and Zach was so happy to just be there! I loved that they coordinated their outfits to absolute perfection!!! Seriously the rust and off-white than the cream and olive. Ok, ok!! I just love when my couples put in the extra effort to coordinate so well!
When planning your engagement session, or any type of session for that matter, planning your outfits strategically will pay off. You do not need to be matchy matchy! Just think of similar colors…take Zach’s killer shirt. It’s rust, which matches Madeline’s pants. Then the olive green embroidery on her dress is accented by his olive pants.
Madeline and I have talked a lot about their wedding plans. So, when she told me she wanted to have their engagement session at the same location, I was incredibly excited. They will be sharing I dos and lots of dancing at The Resort at Egyptian Hills.
