Afton and Alliyah laughed and danced through every moment of their perfect spring wedding at Dragonfly! She looked like a goddess and brides always get so many compliments but let me just say Afton blew us away! He was incredibly handsome and together they looked like they walked right out of a magazine!
Most importantly, I saved her highlights and images for this blog post because Alliyah and Afton are all about the WOW factor!! The part that made my heart swell was Afton continually saying “wow, oh wow! She’s just beautiful!”
They both fell in love with their same day slideshow the night of their wedding!! I just knew they would both be ecstatic to see their perfect spring wedding day put together in this beautiful gallery and blog!
I titled this Perfect Spring Wedding at Dragonfly because this was seriously THE PERFECT DAY!! The weather was insanely perfect. I honestly cannot imagine a better day. There was just enough wind for gorgeous movement to create their stunning images!
Let me preface this by saying Alliyah and Afton were an absolute dream to work with. Alliyah was so excited about her details, her dress and everything that made their wedding day perfection. In short, Danielle with Four Seven Gallery Event Planning was a rockstar with the decor! It was jaw dropping.
My Boulder Creek Couples are emotionally invested in the big and small parts of their wedding day and this is important to me!! Above all, this is the reason I get emotionally invested with my couples and their wedding day. I get to spend the day retelling the story of their day with the images I create for them.
There were so many sweet and unique moments throughout their day that stood out to me that were epic! Mainly, their first look!! The lighting and the location was breathtaking!! My assistant, Alliyah’s wonderful videographer, Melissa Jae, and myself worked to coordinate this perfectly for them! Alliyah was sitting on this gorgeous swing, and Afton joked that it felt like torture since he was beyond excited to see his beautiful bride!!
The other stunning moment was the sorority serenade!! I’ll be honest, I had no clue what this was until Alliyah explained it to me. That still didn’t do it justice!! At their reception, her sorority sisters gathered around her and serenaded Alliyah with a gorgeous song and dance. It was amazing! Check out Melissa Jae Films to see the video of their wedding day!!
