Casey and Ellen drove down from Peoria for their lakeside engagement session. This sweet couple had two chairs in tow. First, before you get too far into this, I want to tell you that I laughed way too much during this session. Casey and Ellen are such a joy to be around and they have the most infectious personalities!! So back to their lakeside engagement session!
Ellen told me about how they have favorite chairs that they wanted to incorporate into their engagement pictures. Side note, I LOVE when my couples want to do something special because it makes the session more unique and memorable! Ok, so the story behind these chairs. Her chair was her grandmother’s and her grandma had reupholstered it. It was just adorable!! Then Casey told me that since Ellen had a special chair he had to have one too. They just so happened to find one that matched the blues in her chair. I seriously loved this!! Ellen and Casey rocked this look and just wait until you see Ellen take over Casey’s chair! Too cute!!
They both told me about their opposite personalities but truly they bring the sweetest balance to each other. I just had to tease Casey a little at the end. He said he was a little nervous holy cow did he just kill it! I will give credit…he was extremely comfortable and caught on faster than I even imagined. Great job Casey…you’re well on your way to your professional modeling career! So guys take Casey as a perfect example. Just be yourself, have fun and you will rock your engagement session (oh, and impress your fiancé!!)
