Zach and Meredith’s Lake of Egypt engagement session was full of laughs and they’re both a ball of fun!! Excuse the cheesy pun and spoiler alert!! We started their Lake of Egypt engagement session warming up by the water and they became professionals very quick! I loved how natural Zach and Meredith were together throughout this entire session even though it was a little warm.
Meredith sent me a text two nights before telling me all about how they met, their story and how Zach proposed. She apologized for the lengthy text but I just laughed because it just showed me how giddy she was and excited for their Lake of Egypt engagement session!
Now if you haven’t met this sweet girl before, she owns M, a unique and gorgeous boutique right off the square in Marion! You will not see this girl, not looking gorgeous 24/7!! I love that her personality inside is just as beautiful as she is outside. So when she told me that her and Zach met when she was a sweaty hot mess, I literally could not believe that!! (Neither did Zach!)
Zach is a teacher and coach down in Paducah, KY. Meredith was attending one of the games when had already Zach planned out an epic proposal! Zach had Meredith thinking she and another girl was picked out of the crowd by the cheerleaders to come down and pick between two prizes. She got the big box and Zach popped out!!! I just loved hearing this story so I had to share it with yall!
Zach was such the trooper through the heat and even was a team player with the 5ft love ball. Yes, you read that right…5 foot! I was so excited to see this giant thing and seriously it did not disappoint!! Zach might have been bribed a little with Busch Light though! 😉
After arriving at their second location, where Meredith grew up, I was so tickled! One, because it reminded me of our home! Then two, because she started to apologize about all of the dogs. Ha! Oh I was right at home!! While they changed I made a few more four legged best friends!!
We walked to the back field and passed by the garden. Meredith definitely won Zach’s heart over, and not just by Busch Light either! She loves canning and making pickles for Zach…which he raved about the whole way past the garden!! I told Meredith that I knew I just loved her!! Dogs, gardening, canning… Seriously, she’s just a doll!!
I can’t wait to celebrate their wedding day with them!! They are two very sweet and special people!
