The weekend of their engagement session, Alliyah and Afton wanted to reclaim their original wedding date! They were set to be married on August 1st, so we set out on August 2nd to take back the date!! It was a beautiful day and it started raining but the best part was it ended with rainbow!!
Let me just say that this girl is organized!! My goodness her pinterest boards is total GOALS! She has boards…then boards within her boards…ALL ORGANIZED! Like Alliyah, can you reorganize my pinterest…? Is this a thing?!
One of the things that I tell my brides, is to send me their inspiration. If they have specific ideas in mind, I want to discuss them so that their engagement session reflects them! That may consist of a mood board, a color palette, or even Pinterest boards. I tell my brides that I don’t recreate the wheel but we definitely show their individuality!
Afton was insanely into this!! He rocked this with Alliyah! I LOVE LOVE LOVE when groom-to-be’s are pumper for their engagement sessions! Why would you not be?? Guys will say “oh I don’t like my picture taken…” It’s a confidence issue 75% of the time. Guys….own it!! Seriously, your buddies will never be able to crack jokes…because more chances than not, they know you killed it!!
When you hear boards games, cooking and jumping on the bed….how can you not get pumped?!
Not only were they laughing the entire time, so was I! I literally have the greatest job ever to be able to witness and capture joy…all…the…time!!
