Ben and Taylor wanted their engagement pictures at the SIU campus. It was special to them and they didn’t care that it was 95 degrees! After spending the afternoon with them, I could not wait for their wedding day!! They were so sweet and funny together. They both shared stories about how they have been together for 8 years and their first date!
Their wedding day was GORGEOUS! The weather was perfect. Sunny, breezy and 80 degrees! I walked into the kitchen at St Stephens on the Hill and the counter was full of brunch and snacks. The girls were laughing and getting ready. The guys had been scoping out the pond and reception tent.
Details! Details!! This wedding had Taylor’s heart and soul into it. She designed every single thing down to the paper coming out of the antique typewriter! Seeing Taylor and Ben’s family come together to make this day beautiful, was the sweetest! I was setting up detail shots and Ben came up to me. He was telling me how hard she worked and that he was also nervous but excited.
Rose petals and love letters and a lot of dancing completed this beautiful day!
