Connor + Claire | Romantic Sunset Engagement

Connor + Claire nailed it in every way during their romantic sunset engagement session at Pere Marquette State Park in Grafton, Illinois! The outfit, the romance, the sunset…it was all perfection. Claire and Connor drove over from Missouri to meet me for their romantic sunset engagement. They were just absolute gems to photograph too!! It sprinkled on and off but that didn’t phase them one bit. Also, if you couldn’t tell, the sky was showing off once again. I felt like I was on a movie set or in a dream!!

Connor and Claire just blew me away during their entire session. They were so trusting with the location and poses too! I may or may not have dreamy Taylor Swift soundtracks playing in the back of my brain while I type this. It just gives me all of the fairytale romance feels!! I can’t say it enough, the glow and the sky were breathtaking. Claire’s dress was stunning! The back was jaw dropping too. Clearing I’m still swooning over that day!!

Ok, now one to another one of the things that I absolutely loved about the entire session. I just loved how excited and happy they both were to be there. I remember “meeting” Claire and her mom over video chat before they booked me and I just knew they were all going to be such a sweet group. When I photograph my couples at their engagement sessions, it just gets me so excited for their wedding!

This romantic sunset engagement is one for the books! Connor and Claire, I can’t wait to celebrate with you on your wedding day!! I know it will be just as magical as this day was!!
