This summer romance wedding was a beautiful labor of love by Casey and Ellen. I was in love when Ellen first told me about her summer romance wedding theme! It may have rained but like they say, that is the best of luck for a marriage! However, their love and joy for each other brightened the day then ended with a breathtaking sunset.
Ellen and Casey had a stunning reception that was speckled with lanterns, ambient lighting and a dance floor made for a party! One of my favorite things, and there were so many by the way, was the gorgeous furniture they had for a relaxed sitting area. If you remember the love they have for their own chairs, this will make since! If you didn’t get a chance to see it, check out their adorable engagement session here.
Now, the other sweet moment that struck me was her gorgeous broach! Ellen told me that the broach she wore in her hair was her grandmothers. As you all may already know, I am a major sucker for heirlooms!! So, when she told me this, I just knew I had to share it with you all.
Casey and Ellen shared a first look. However, at the last moment Casey asked if I could photograph it. Originally, he wanted it as a private moment but asked if he could change his mind because he knew Ellen would want it. How adorably sweet?? They are truly such a sweet and genuine couple.
I loved the humor and sweet moments they shared throughout their day. Especially when Casey asked Ellen during their first look if she had any plans later. Haha! He said he was throwing a party and she was invited. Cute!!!
Their summer romance wedding was filled with dear family and friends who poured so much love into the day as well. I loved hearing the toasts celebrating Ellen and Casey, and laughed at the best man’s speech.
Ellen and Casey, you had a gorgeous wedding. You stuck through the rain and celebrated the day with a gorgeous end. I hope you enjoy reliving your day through these beautiful images. So, I’m beyond grateful to have been a part of your day.

Courtney
