This gorgeous Central Illinois wedding was breathtaking! Logan hired me to photograph his proposal to Abby at Garden of the Gods and that’s when they ended up hiring me to go up north for their wedding!

Aiden and Rachel are absolutely adorable and funny! This is Aiden’s family farm so of course I was drooling over this barn! They danced and laughed in the hay loft, which was gorgeous by the way!

The weekend of their engagement session, Alliyah and Afton wanted to reclaim their original wedding date! They were set to be married on August 1st, so we set out on August 2nd to take back the date!! It was a beautiful day and it started raining but the best part was it ended with rainbow!!

These two…oh my oh my!! Let me tell you one of the things that I just LOVED about these two…they laughed…nonstop!! Their laughter was so infectious! Katelyn and Zach were insanely easy going. She chose the location and I have to say, I was BEYOND impressed. I was also impressed by Zach! Some grooms have some difficulty cutting loose and enjoying the moments but he kept saying how much fun he was having. TOTAL WIN!

When Jaycie and I started discussing her engagement session, I told her that I encourage my brides to pick places that are special to them! It means so much more when there is sentiment behind the location. She told me about Double M Campground and about how it’s one of their favorite places to horseback ride. Jaycie asked if I would be willing to horseback ride to a couple locations between Double M and within the Shawnee National Forest….uhh like she even had to ask!! Of course!! This is why I absolutely love what I do!!

Engagement sessions are one of my favorite types of sessions because this is how I get to know my brides and grooms! I get to essentially “train” you on posing for your wedding day. So, on your wedding day we are already comfortable with working with each other!
